Features of Nickel Alloy Coiled Tubing
High creep fracture strength
Resistant to oxidation at 1800°F
Good fatigue resistance
Excellent weldability
Excellent resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion
Resistant to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking
Resistant to seawater under flowing and stagnant conditions as well as under contaminated conditions
Applications: Chemical process industry and sea water application. Alloy 625 is used in short term applications at temperatures up to 816℃. For long term service, it is best restricted to a maximum of 593℃, because long term exposure above 593℃ will result in significant embrittlement.
